Cinnamon Swirl Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar For the Cinnamon Swirl.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a loaf pan with butter or non-stick spray.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir to blend.
  • In another bowl, blend the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then mix in the milk and vanilla extract until creamy.
  • Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  • Fold in the diced apples gently.

Cinnamon Swirl

  • Mix the cinnamon and granulated sugar in a small bowl.
  • Spoon some batter into the loaf pan, sprinkle with a portion of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, and repeat the layers.
  • Lightly swirl the batter with a knife.

Baking

  • Pour the remaining batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy with butter, coffee, or tea. You can also add nuts for extra crunch or drizzle with caramel.
