Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Spread the apple pie filling evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the apples, making sure to cover them completely.
Drizzle the melted butter across the cake mix, ensuring as much coverage as possible.
Sprinkle ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and pecans (if using) on top.
Bake in the oven for 40–45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
Let cool slightly, then serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a drizzle of caramel sauce over each serving. This dessert tastes best served warm!
