  • 1 cup hot or cold brewed coffee Regular brewed or cold brew works
  • 1 cup milk Dairy, oat, almond, or any milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup Optional for added sweetness
  • 1 pinch cinnamon Optional for flavor
  • ice ice cubes To serve

Preparation

  • Mash the ripe banana in a bowl or directly in your mug until smooth.
  • Pour hot coffee over the mashed banana and stir well.
  • Add in ice cubes to chill the mixture.
  • Splash in the milk of your choice.
  • Sweeten with honey or maple syrup, and add a pinch of cinnamon if desired. Stir until creamy.

Notes

For a creamier texture, blend all ingredients instead of stirring. Use frozen bananas for an extra frothy drink. Serve immediately for the best taste.
