  • 1 cup Butter or oil
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk or buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons Baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Cocoa powder (optional for chocolate cake)

Frosting and Decoration Ingredients

  • 4 cups Buttercream frosting For decorating
  • 1 pack Fondant (optional for smooth finish)
  • 1 cup Edible pearls For decoration
  • 1/2 cup Edible glitter For decoration

Accessories

  • 1 standard Barbie doll Wrap legs in plastic wrap

Instructions
 

Preparing the Cake Layers

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In separate bowls, mix wet and dry ingredients.
  • Combine wet and dry ingredients, then divide the batter into different pans.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, then allow cakes to cool completely.
  • Level the tops of the cakes after cooling.

Assembling the Cake

  • Place the largest cake layer on a cake board.
  • Add a layer of frosting on top, then stack the next cake layer.
  • Continue stacking layers until you reach the desired height.
  • Carve the cake into a dome shape for the skirt.
  • Wrap Barbie’s legs in plastic wrap and insert her into the center of the cake.

Decorating the Cake

  • Use frosting to cover the entire cake and create decorative details.
  • Pipe ruffles or floral designs using a star tip.
  • Add edible pearls and glitter for extra decoration.

Notes

Ensure the doll is clean and food-safe. Refrigerate and store leftovers properly to maintain the design.
