  • 1/2 tsp salt Enhances sweetness.

For the Icing

  • 4 oz cream cheese Softened.
  • 1 cup powdered sugar Add more for sweetness as desired.
  • 1 tbsp milk To adjust icing consistency.
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract For flavor.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a pan.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • In another bowl, beat the eggs and melted butter, then combine with the dry ingredients until well blended.

Baking

  • Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the bars are golden brown.

Icing

  • While the bars cool, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla in a bowl until smooth.
  • Spread the icing over the cooled bars before slicing.
