Ingredients
  

For the truffles

  • 26 cookies Oreo cookies Crushed into fine crumbs
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened Should be at room temperature
  • 10 ounces white melting wafers (candy melts) For coating the truffles

Preparation

  • Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs in a bowl using a food processor or by smashing them in a zip-top bag with a rolling pin.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese. Mix until well blended.
  • Roll the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Freeze the truffle balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
  • Melt the white melting wafers in the microwave or a double boiler, stirring in between to avoid burning.
  • Dip each chilled truffle into the melted wafers, ensuring they are completely coated. Return them to the baking sheet.
  • Allow the truffles to cool until the coating hardens. You can refrigerate them to speed up the process.

Notes
