Ingredients
  

Pork Chop Preparation

  • 2 tablespoons ranch seasoning, divided in half Use one tablespoon for butter mixture and one for cooking.
  • 4 tablespoons softened butter Make sure it's well softened for easy mixing.
  • 4 to 6 pieces bone-in pork chops Bone-in chops are recommended for juiciness.

Main Ingredients

  • 2 pounds baby potatoes, quartered You can substitute with sweet potatoes for variation.
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth Use low-sodium broth if preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley Optional garnish for serving.

Preparation

  • Mix 1 tablespoon of ranch seasoning with softened butter in a small bowl until well combined.
  • Rub the ranch butter mixture onto the pork chops evenly.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for about 30 seconds on each side.

Cooking

  • Place quartered baby potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of ranch seasoning over the top.
  • Place the seared pork chops on top of the potatoes.
  • Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Once cooked, sprinkle fresh parsley on top and serve.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave. Flavors improve over time!
