Instructions
Preparation
In a large Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F.
In a medium bowl, whisk together the beaten egg, vanilla extract, and milk until combined.
Add the Bisquick mix and stir until there are no lumps.
Frying
Using a large spoon, dip an Oreo into the batter until fully coated.
Carefully scoop up the batter-covered Oreo and slowly lower it into the hot oil.
Fry the Oreo for about 30 to 60 seconds, until golden brown.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried Oreos and place them on a paper-lined plate.
Serving
Dust them generously with powdered sugar and serve immediately.
Notes
These deep-fried delights are best enjoyed fresh. You can add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or drizzle with chocolate syrup for extra flavor.
