Dubai Chocolate

Ingredients
  

Kataifi Base

  • kataifi pastry shredded phyllo dough
  • butter melted

Pistachio-Tahini Filling

  • pistachio paste or butter
  • tahini sesame paste
  • butter or coconut oil melted
  • sugar or honey

Chocolate Coating

  • high-quality chocolate dark, milk, or white
  • butter or coconut oil melted, for gloss

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread kataifi pastry evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with melted butter and bake for 10–15 minutes until golden and crispy. Let cool completely.
  • In a bowl, mix pistachio paste, tahini, melted butter or coconut oil, and sugar or honey until smooth and creamy.
  • Chop chocolate and melt using a double boiler or microwave in short bursts. Stir in melted butter or coconut oil for a glossy finish.
  • To assemble: Place a layer of baked kataifi into chocolate molds. Add a layer of pistachio-tahini filling. Top with another layer of kataifi. Cover completely with melted chocolate.
  • Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until completely set. Remove from molds and serve chilled or at room temperature.

Notes

Cool the kataifi before layering to preserve crispness. Use high-quality chocolate for best flavor. Press each layer gently for even results. Fully chill for a firm bite and glossy finish.
