  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar for dusting
  • 1 quart vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by removing the frozen cheesecake from its packaging and carefully cut it into squares.
  • Keep the cheesecake pieces in the freezer while you prep the batter.

Cooking the Cheesecake

  • In a deep skillet or Dutch oven, pour in several inches of vegetable oil and heat it between 350°F and 375°F.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the Bisquick pancake mix, milk, and the egg to make a thick batter.
  • Once the oil is hot, dip each cheesecake piece into the batter using a fork, letting any excess drip off.
  • Gently place the battered cheesecake into the hot oil and flip occasionally until golden brown, about 1 to 2 minutes.
  • Remove the fried cheesecake and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  • Dust the fried cheesecake pieces with powdered sugar and serve warm with caramel and strawberry sauces.

Notes

Keep cheesecake pieces frozen until ready to fry to maintain structure. Monitor oil temperature for the best frying results. Experiment with dipping sauces and additional toppings like whipped cream or fresh berries.
