  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract Use pure vanilla extract for better flavor.

Mix-ins (Optional)

  • 1 cup Fresh fruit (e.g., strawberries, mango) Chop into small pieces.
  • 1/2 cup Peanut butter or gluten-free cookie dough Ensure it is certified gluten-free.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine heavy cream, milk, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Whisk the mixture until the sugar has dissolved.

Cooking

  • Heat the mixture gently in a saucepan over low heat until warm (do not boil).
  • Once warm, remove from heat and let it cool.

Churning

  • Pour the cooled mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  • During the last few minutes of churning, fold in any mix-ins if desired.

Freezing

  • Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes
