  • 0.33 cup melted butter
  • 0.5 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan (5 minutes).
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth (2 minutes).
  • Stir in the melted butter, followed by the granulated sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract (3 minutes).
  • Mix in the baking soda and a pinch of salt. Gradually stir in the flour just until combined (3 minutes).
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing (15 minutes).
