  • 1 pre-made pie crust 1 pre-made graham cracker pie crust You can substitute with chocolate cookie or shortbread crust.

Filling

  • 8 oz 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is room temperature for a smooth filling.
  • 1 cup 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 cup 1 cup whipped cream Store-bought whipped cream can be used.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup chocolate chips You can substitute with crushed Oreos or nuts for variations.
  • to taste drops Green food coloring (optional) Add for color.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract until smooth.
  • If using, add a few drops of green food coloring and mix it in.
  • Gently fold in the whipped cream until combined and fluffy.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the pre-made graham cracker pie crust and smooth it out.
  • Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.

Serving

  • Slice and serve chilled, optionally topping with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or a fresh mint leaf.

Notes

Store covered in the refrigerator and it lasts 3-4 days. Keep away from strong-smelling foods.
