Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet or line with parchment paper.
Pound chicken breasts to even thickness. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Prepare three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of Parmesan and panko breadcrumbs.
Dip each chicken breast in flour, then egg, then coat in the Parmesan-panko mixture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
Transfer chicken to prepared baking sheet and bake for 15–18 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
While chicken bakes, make the sauce: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté 1–2 minutes.
Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and cream. Bring to a simmer.
Add Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper, and cook until thickened (3–5 minutes).
Spoon creamy garlic sauce over baked chicken, garnish with chopped parsley if desired, and serve hot.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of white wine to the sauce or serve with mashed potatoes or pasta for a complete meal.
