Ingredients

light brown sugar

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, beat together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until well combined.
Add the vegetable oil and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Gradually add the self-rising flour to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
Gently fold in the chopped pecans.
Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
